In a past post, we taught you all about Reporting fyuses and deleting comments. While this solution is great for most users, some of you may need something a little more permanent. With today's post, we're introducing the ability to Block Users (Available today in iOS 2.0.3, and coming soon to Android).
Understanding what blocking does
When you block a user, they will have no way to communicate with you through the app. Specifically, the following effects take place:
- If one or both of you followed each other, you automatically unfollow each other.
- Their fyuses are automatically hidden from your view (even if echoed by users you do follow).
- You both lose the ability to comment, like, echo, or share each other's fyuses.
- You both lose the ability to direct message each other.
How to block a user
Visit the profile of the user you'd like to block. Then tap the action (●●●) button.
Tap the "Block user" button. Then tap "Ok" on the Block user dialog.
Go back to enjoying Fyuse without that particular user's presence.
How to unblock a user
Visit the profile of the user you'd like to unblock. Then tap the action (●●●) button.
Tap the "Unblock user" button. Then tap "Ok" on the Unblock user dialog.
You and the previously blocked user are now set back to zero. You're free to refollow, comment, like, echo, or share each other's fyuses again.
